UW Surplus auction this Saturday

There are only a few weeks of shopping left before Christmas. What do you get those last few people on your list, the ones who are so hard to buy for?

We think we have the solution for you.

University of Washington Surplus Store (1137 NE Boat Street) is holding an auction this Saturday at 10 am (in person AND online), with many stupendously good deals to be had.

Here’s the link to the full auction catalog, but we here at Ravenna Blog have picked out a few of our favorites to share:

Lot 13: A volleyball sport court! (in FIVE crates!)

Lot 17: A Brunswick bowling ball cleaner!

Lot 49: A PALLET of G-5 Mac Computers! No hard drives, though.

Lot 97: A stretcher!

The previews are today from 10 am-7 pm, and at 8 am on Saturday, right before the auction.  There are over 100 lots up for sale, so if you are at all interested, we strongly recommend you study up before tomorrow.

On top of all that, UW Surplus is holding a moving sale* and will be open to the public not only Tuesday, December 14 (the normal day of the week for the public to browse), but the rest of the week as well (through Friday).

More information on their store hours for the rest of the year can be found here.

*YES, we know where they’re moving TO, but we’re waiting for the official announcement. Stay tuned!
