I-5 express lanes will close all weekend starting at 9pm tonight and not re-opening until Monday. The reason? Delivering pieces of Northgate ped/bike bridge. As you can see by below pics, the scale of these bridge spans are massive! @wsdot_traffic @SDOTtraffic

Good news re: Pair building fire.
@RavennaBlog Fire in apt on 2nd floor NE end of bldg. Luckily people were home & called in quickly. Nobody hurt. Huge response. Firefighter said bldg is so old it would have likely burned bldg quickly. Bldg old no fire suppression. Pair & businesses unharmed. 👏 🙏 first responders.
Fire on floor two is tapped, per scanner. Address corresponds to that of the building which houses the Pair restaurant.
Crews are investigating reports of a fire at the 5500 Block of 30TH AVE NE. Please avoid the area.
Thanks for covering this! I wish I could’ve been there. I’m Glad to see road diets getting a mention, as they end up creating such a huge improvement for everyone (including drivers).
